the tragic loss of his 17-year-old son, Mac, to suicide after an online sexual extortion scam, Wayne turned unimaginable grief into a
mission to protect other families from online harms and raise awareness around the risks facing young people in the digital world.
Today, Wayne works with schools, communities, government and industry leaders to drive conversations around online safety, social media responsibility and youth wellbeing. His advocacy has helped bring national attention to the urgent need for stronger protections for young Australians online.
